Dear Vice President Poole at Penn State University in Pennsylvania,

Thank you for taking the time to send me a prompt reply note (below) about this very urgent matter for me.

Your reply note prompts me to recall another public university in Texas that I have not contacted this year, and to myself request from that university comprehensive non-psychiatric medical testing on me of the type that I am seeking. That State of Texas-owned university is Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.

As a courtesy to Texas Tech University's very distinguished Chancellor, I have decided to share this correspondence with himself in the hope that he might be willing to kindly review my request for assistance and send me a reply letter in the very near future.

I might add that I am a former resident of Denver City, Texas---a small town situated near Lubbock----who myself served as editor in chief and the primary news-reporter for "The Denver City Press" general-circulation newspaper for approximately one year in 1996.

I am also carbon-copying this correspondence to State Rep. Warren Chisum as a courtesy to himself. Rep. Chisum is one courageously independent-minded state lawmaker in Texas who I feel very sure fully supports the legal and human right of any single adult person, including any and all single adult male persons living alone, with myself definitely being among those single adult male persons currently living alone, to sleep alone while lying unconscious on that single adult person's own bed without ANYONE subjecting that individual to any form of personal injury or molestation or rape of any type during his or her sleep.

As a former resident of Pampa, Texas, the hometown of Rep. Chisum, a highly esteemed private attorney member of the State Bar of Texas and very distinguished member of the Texas House of Representatives, I appreciate the courtesy toward me that Rep. Chisum conveyed during my period of residence in Pampa (1992-1994) as an education-beat and general-assignment-beat full-time newspaper reporter for the "Pampa Daily News" daily newspaper in Pampa, Texas.

Sincerely and Best Wishes,

John Kevin McMillan, a permanently teetotaling (drinking-alcohol-free) and anti-marijuana-minded and permanently illicit-drug-free as well as permanently marijuana-free and longtime celibate-by-choice, gainfully employed single adult gentleman in Austin, Texas.

Subject: 1-17-13 urgent question for Northwestern or Penn State

Dear First-Rate Administrators at Northwestern University in Evanston,

I would like to thank Northwestern University for having given me the opportunity to interview in person in 1983 ir 1984 with editors for "The Miami Herald" for a possible student internship at "The Miami Herald." Dave Nelson, a professor in your journalism school at Northwestern and an occasional "Miami Herald" suburban-section editor, was one of two gentlemen who interviewed me for that "Miami Herald" internship opportunity. Although I was not chosen for that internship opportunity, the interview gave me a first-ever introduction to your campus and the Chicago area.

I would also like to thank one of your very fine essayists, Professor Joseph Epstein, editor of "American Scholar" magazine, for a kind reply note he wrote and mailed to me in a recent prior decade from your campus.

I am writing you today to ask if there is any circumstance in which Northwestern University would ever be willing to sponsor extensive non-psychiatric medical testing on a single adult gentleman (myself, in this case) who alleges that he has been victimized by continuous and daily and year-round personal-injury crimes and continuous and daily and year-round anal-rape crimes as well as nasal-inhalant-rape-crimes and oral-inhalant-rape crimes during his sleep (I snore, and I ALWAYS sleep alone on my bed inside a one-bedroom apartment I rent in Austin, Texas) on a daily and frequent and year-round basis inside his bolt-locked apartment unit where he lives alone.

I am raising this question because none of the medical schools in Texas that I have contacted about this medical crisis for me have expressed any interest in providing me with the comprehensive medical testing, including an anal sonogram, that I am currently seeking.

Among the many symptoms I've experienced in the period since April 28, 2011, when I filed a formal complaint with the Austin (TX) Police Department about an alleged illegal intruder allegedly having illegal physical contact with me during my sleep inside my bolt-locked apartment unit in Austin, are:

----pain in my legs that I experience in the middle of the night when I am suddenly awakened in the middle of my sleep.

----awkwardness in my joints when I walk that I had NOT experienced prior to April 2011, from what i can currently recall.

---pain in my hips, which my very fine primary care physician, Dr. Edie Shulman, diagnosed in 2012 as possible bursitis to my right hip.

----throbbing or severe or, in some cases, less severe anal pain that I immediately experience upon being awakened in the middle of my sleep, which occurs an average of three times per morning, I would estimate.

----severe constriction of my anal cavity, a sharp contrast to what I experienced when I took my bath shortly before going to bed for good earlier that morning.

-----a stinging sensation in my nostrils, suggesting to me that I was subjected during my sleep to an alleged illegal nasal inhalant by an alleged illegal intruder unbeknownst to myself inside my bolt-locked apartment unit at a large NW Austin apartment complex reportedly owned and managed by the for-profit corporation "Westdale" of Dallas, Texas.

----an unpleasant aftertaste in my mouth that I often experience immediately upon being awakened on my bed in the middle of my sleep.

I am a very strong criminal-law complainant. I lead a completely marijuana-free and illicit-drug-free, alcohol-free, clean-talking, facially-cleanshaven (no beard, no mustache, no goatee, etc.), lifelong-tattoo-less, longtime celibate-by-choice (during my waking or conscious hours), and lifelong-tobacco-free lifestyle. Also, I have no criminal-conviction record. I previously had a very good accuracy record in my reporting jobs at several respective newspapers in several U.S. states, including "The (New Ulm, Minn.) Journal" daily newspaper in southwestern Minnesota. Currently, I am gainfully employed in three family-friendly chain restaurants in Austin, Texas.

So far in 2012 and 2013, and in fact ever since and including April 29, 2011, the Austin Police Department has declined to order ANY DNA testing on any portion of my own body, or on any of my bedsheets, even though I have pointed out to APD several times that my bedsheets contain several stains on them that I maintain were NOT caused by myself. APD has also repeatedly refused to order any lab testing on any of the dozens of samples of hair follicles I've found on my bed that, in many cases, do not appear to be hair follicles that came from my own body.

No one other than myself, John Kevin McMillan of Austin, has ever at any time been directly and in person observed by me during my waking or conscious hours lying on or situated on the orthopedic Swedish bed that I own and sleep on alone inside my bolt-locked apartment unit. I purchased that bed for myself and had it installed in the pivate bedroom of my apartment unit in 2007.

I have obtained numerous infrared photos of alleged possible illegal intruders in the private bedroom of my bolt-locked apartment unit during my bedtime hours. However, the Austin Police Department so far has refused to accept from me any of my video cards containing those infrared photo images---photos that I maintain could provide invaluable criminal-law evidence to APD.

Any suggestions or ideas or helpful referrals that your Administration at Northwestern University might be willing to offer me at this time would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely and Best Wishes,

John Kevin McMillan.

with a courtesy carbon-copy to the first-rate Administration at Penn State University, a very influential university that has recently taken an admirable public stand opposing the alleged rape of male persons. As a former resident of the Northeastern United States as well, I would also welcome any and all non-psychiatric medical testing of my own body, including my internal organs, that Penn State's Medical School might be willing to offer me at this time.
